This GPD saddle will suit you if you prefer to concentrate on flatwork, dressage and hacking instead of jumping. It has a generous seat for riders who like the feel of ‘more room’ in the seat, or are slightly wider in the hips.

Begin by girthing in the neutral position using the second and third billets. (NOTE: This is the same as girthing on the first and third billets on a saddle with a conventional girthing system)
If you find the saddle slips forward, you can use the point (front) strap and the third position
If the back of the saddle lifts away from the horse’s back, move the third strap onto the floating balance position and use the second and fourth position.
If the saddle tends to move forward and lift at the back, use the first and fourth positions
